Currently a PhD student in co-supervision between the Federal University of Pernambuco and the University of Nantes, working on a thesis with an early weaning rat model and its outcomes on feeding behavior. The main focus is the susceptibility of neurotransmission systems (dopaminergic and serotonergic) and the central clock to early life stress experiences. In addition, investigates the involvement of epigenetic factors in this context, such as microRNAs.
