Graduated in Pharmacy, with Masters and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of São Paulo - USP. Her academic career was initiated as a professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão da USP in 1987. In 1993, she obtained his Doctorate and post doctorate from the University of Strathclyde - Glasgow. In 2000 got the title of free teacher/Associate professor. She is currently a Full Professor at the University of São Paulo. She has worked as a visiting researcher at Nikkol R&D - Japan, at the University of Paris-Sud, at the Research and Technology Center of Chanel Paris and at the University of Le Havre - France. Coordinates various research projects and has received many awards and honors. She is the coordinator of 3 Scientific Cooperation Agreements between the University of São Paulo and the Lusophone University - Portugal, the Research & Development Center of Nikkol.
