PABLO ANDRES NEPOMNASCHY
Prof. Pablo Nepomnaschy is graduated in Biology by the Universidad Nacional de la Patagónia San Juan Bosco, en Argentina. He got master and PhD degrees in Antropology by the University of Michigan. Currently, he is associate professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, Canada, where he is also the director of the Maternal and Child Health Laboratory. His main research interests are centered on the effects of stress—broadly defined as any challenge that activates the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis —on growth, development and health throughout the human life course. Finally, Prof. Nepomnaschy is vice-president of the next DOHaD World Congress in Vancouver, 2022.
