RAUL NOGUEIRA
Dr. Nogueira completed his Medical School at the Federal University of Ceará (Fortaleza, Brazil) where he also concluded a residency in Internal Medicine. He subsequently did an Internal Medicine Internship at the University of Miami and then completed his Neurology Residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Brigham and Women’s Hospital/ Harvard Medical School in 2002. He subsequently completed Fellowships in Vascular and Critical Care Neurology as well as Interventional Neuroradiology at the MGH. He moved to Atlanta in September 2010 to help building the Marcus Stroke & Neuroscience Center at the Grady Memorial Hospital where he serves as the Director of the Neuroendovascular Service. He is a Professor of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Radiology at the Emory University School of Medicine, the Editor-in-Chief for the Interventional Neurology Journal and the Immediate Past President of the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology (SVIN).
