CLAUDIA ALCARAZ ZINI
RSShort-c-vitae: Claudia Zini holds a degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1984), a master's degree in chemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1990) and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul / University of Waterloo (2002). She is currently a professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. She has experience in Analytical Chemistry, working mainly on the following topics: comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography with mass spectrometry detector, volatile and semi-volatile compounds from various matrices, extraction and separation, environmental analytical chemistry, ecological chemistry. Among the main study matrices are: wines, fruit juices, food in general, plants, essential oils, bio-oil, tar, petroleum, coal, bitumen, etc.
