Short c-vitae: Graduated from the Druzhbi Narodov University (UDN) of Moscow (USSR-Russia), with a Doctorate from the same university in the area of Instrumental Analysis (Mass Spectrometry and Separation Techniques). He has done post-doctoral stays at the Universities of California (Davis, United States), Braunschweig (Germany), Doping Control Center, Quebéc (Canada) and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Australia). Member of the Editorial Board of several international journals (Journal of Separation Science, Journal of Essential Oil Research and Scientia Chromatographica), member of the Scientific Council of the Research Institute of Biological Resources Alexander von Humboldt and member of the Council of the National Program of Science, Technology and Innovation in Biotechnology (Colciencias), representing the Investigative Sector.

For more than 28 years, she is a professor at the School of Chemistry, Faculty of Sciences, of the Industrial University of Santander (UIS, Bucaramanga, Colombia), currently, she is a Full Professor Laureate. Founder and lecturer of the National School of Chromatography at the UIS where she has taught more than 150 specialized courses in the area of Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, Sample Preparation, Forensic Chemistry
