ROSANGELA ASSIS JACQUES

Short-c-vitae: Rosângela Assis Jacques holds a degree in Industrial Chemistry from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1992), a Master's Degree in Analytical Chemistry from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1997), and PhD in Analytical and Environmental Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2005). She is currently Associate Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Her main reserarch interest is in the Liquid Chromatography (LC/MS) and Comprehensive Two-Dimensional Gas Chromatography (GCxGC) applied in the analysis of extracts from plants (mainly yerba mate - ilex paraguariensis) and products of the pyrolysis of residual biomass (rice-husk). Currently she is research in CNPq, level 2.
