Short c-vitae: Dr. Zenilda de Lourdes Cardeal gots a doctorate in chemistry from the Université de Paris XI (Paris- Sud - France) and postdoctoral studies at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Australia). She is full professor of analytical chemistry at the Federal University of Minas Gerais since 1994. She acts in the development of methods of analysis of organic compounds at the trace level. Her research work focuses on the following topics: environmental analysis, food analysis, toxicological analysis, gas chromatography, comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography, GCxGC and solid phase microextraction, SPME. Currently she is a Research level 2 from CNPq.
