Short c-vitae: Dr. Lisiane Santos Freitas holds a PhD in chemistry at Federal University of Rio GRande do Sul (UFRGS/Brazil). She is professor of Analytical Chemistry at the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). She works mainly on the following topics: extraction and pretreatment of samples, fractionation of organic compounds, pyrolysis of biomass and development of methodology for the analysis of complex samples by gas chromatography and liquid. Currently she is a CNPq
