Dr. Moretti has obtained a bachelor degree in Biology at the São Paulo State University (UNESP) in 2008, an MS degree in Cell Biology at UNESP in 2011, and a PhD in physiology at the University of São Paulo (USP) in 2016. He has experience in the fields of ecoimmunology, comparative physiology and parasitology. Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Neuroimmunology of Sepsis Laboratory at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of São Paulo, where he has been conducting research on the role of macrophages and lipid mediators on the pathophysiology of sepsis, with emphasis on its hemodynamic consequences.
