DANILO LUSTRINO BORGES
Prof. Danilo Lustrino holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ, Brazil, 2011) and holds a PhD in Physiology from the University of São Paulo at Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP, USP, Brazil, 2015). During his doctorate, Dr. Danilo developed his research project aimed at evaluating the role of the Sympathetic Nervous System in the control of protein metabolism and motor endplate in rodent skeletal muscles. At that time, he held a part of his PhD project on the University of Heildeberg and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany). Since 2016, Dr. Danilo is associate professor in the Department of Physiology at the Federal University of Sergipe (DFS, UFS, Brazil), developing projects related to the role of peptides that control energy metabolism and mammalian muscle mass.
